These guys make this look easy, but it is FAR from that. It will take
anyone at least 2 years(1 1/2) to gain enough irating and to finish top 11
in a season competing with 68,0000 other racers to become pro, let alone
PRO W/C to run these events. Building a qualifying and a race setup for the
gen6 to be able to compete with these guys in these races only a few can
do. 90% of the guys that run this series do not build their own setups,
they have actual sponsors and may pay guys to build them

I actually raced with Timmy Hill on iracing.com with the gen6 at New
Hampshire. He kicked all of our asses in that race, I finished 4th and
Timmy Hill was about 5 seconds away from putting me a lap down on a 55 lap
race. Watching this on youtube holds NOTHING compaired to buying the
content, learning the oval tracks, being fast and putting a complete race
together. I bet you couldn’t my friend…

or you road course guys don’t like racing side by side at 200mph, an inch
away from the other car going into a corner with 35 laps on your tires…

Dale Earnhardth Jr. Timmy Hill, Joey Logano, AJ Almindinger to name a few.
Also Hendrick motorsports, Joe Gibbs racing and Roush Fenway racing use
Iracing.com as a training tool for all their drivers

Well then you’re doing something wrong. I personally think ovals are far
more exciting than road courses. Close racing and lots of passes..

All it takes is a quick look at your channel. You play Forza, never done
any oval racing, and you can have that opinion? I don’t think so. And the
question is, if it sucks, why are you here?

I used to think so as well but actually racing in the races is sometimes
really fun especially if you have a partner to help get each other through
the pack.
