Derrick Walker has officially resigned as IndyCar’s director of operations and competitions. Walker had signed a two-year contract back in 2012 but stayed slightly past his contract’s length and now will return to the Tudor United Sports Car Series to run Team Falken Tire. Walker’s resignation is effective on August 31, 2015.
