Kahn was given the offer of 6M, meaning that the plate is worth what someone wants to pay for it..
If you had a business with an original investment of $200K
Years later it then grew and someone offered say.. $2M The business is now Worth 2M
You would say I have made a profit on my business of 1.8M
No he hasn’t theoretically made 5.5 Million cash in hand profit.. But its a generalisation on what it is worth..
