Conway Has Nice Day At The Beach
Mike Conway sat back and watched and waited as several contenders and pre-race favorites gradually crashed out and made way for him to capture the 40th Toyota grand Prix of Long Beach. Conway wound up defeating Will Power while pre-race favorites Juan Pablo Montoya finished fourth and four-time winner Sebastian Bourdais finished 14th. Carlos Munoz finished third.

Despite the victory, Power continues to lead the IndyCar points standings with 93 to Conway’s 66, followed by Simon Pagenaud in third with 60 points.
