Fuck that 48 will remember that just make a little contact with him before the line so the “beating to the line” rule doesnt apply.

So does all the rest of them. They might as well bring in Honky Tonk Man and The Undertaker.

u would think dale duh Jarrett would know this too, but sadly, he forgot. if the leader slows after the restart box, its on the flagman. the leader is no longer the leader.. he is fair game. that’s according to the rules..

it DOES MATTER. jj restarted before the box.. it has nothing to do with start finish except he cannot pass the first place car before start finish.. if the leader does not go inside the box, then the flagman will start the race, and the leader is fair game at that point..if the leader does not maintain pace, its a mute point..jimmie passed up Montoya before the restart box. carl did nothing wrong..

the rules are clear… if the leader cannot maintain pace, at the restart box.. for any reason, the flagman restarts the race, at that point crossing start finish first is mute, the second place car or anybody else can pass him. if he restarted the race inside the box. then he cannot be passed before start finish. if he is, then the position has to be given back to him by the passer. its really not that complicated. dale Jarrett knows this. menard spun his tires..and he hit the 99. its right.

He has been terrible for the last month or so but he had the luxury of a huge points difference so it made next to no difference, you don’t become the most successful driver of the modern era by being a schmuck he’ll step it up for The Chase.

Every time I watch the replay I see the 27 going before the 99, then spinning the tires and hitting the 99.

NASCAR made the right call here not doing anything to the 99. They need to change the restart rule though. The leader should not be allowed to spin the tires, yet still be first to the line. If you can’t restart, too bad.

48 went before the 42 though, so you can’t compare them.

Well good news for Newman. He’s in the chase. MWR got big penalties because they found out that bowyer and vickers were trying to help truex get into the chase.

That doesn’t matter. The rule does not specify spinning tires. It just states you can’t beat the leader to the line. When that happened with JJ and JPM, JPM was very slow getting to the line.

carl is well known for jumping the restarts. But leave it to nascar to screw up again. They let the one they wanted to win win. Every time I watch the replay I see the same thing Carl jumping the restart. Nascar needs to wake up….

So Carl Edwards blatantly cheated as did Bowyer – here’s hoping JJ wins title number 6, if not I’d love to see Kyle win it.

Tony was so right about Joey Logano though.. He was given everything. He didn’t earn anything, he was given everything. Kid has never worked for anything in his life. He is a no good driver either.. He shouldn’t even been in the chase.
