2015 Formula One Season – A Brief Review In Pictures

The 2015 Formula One season is finally over – thankfully, if you happen to be fans of close races for podium positions or any team not named Mercedes – but that doesn’t mean it was not an eventful season. Not when you have Lewis Hamilton as a champion [as shown by our lead photo of Hamilton spraying champagne on an innocent grid girl at the Chinese Grand Prix].

Auto Sports Nation has sifted through the wreckage of the season and located some of the more interesting occurrences during the season such as that time Pirelli said they made good tires for racing Formula One cars and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel had one explode on him mid-race at the Belgium Grand Prix [as did Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg in a practice run].

Then there was that time an interloper decided to take a leisurely stroll on the track at the Singapore Grand Prix.

Of course, who could forget when Team Ferrari was so excited that their man had actually won a race that they staged their own invasion of the Parc Ferme in the their post-race ejaculation.

Naturally, no review of the 2015 Formula One season would be accurate or complete without at least two references to Hamilton’s many examples of exemplary behavior both on and off the track. There is spraying the Chinese grid girl, of course, but there is also not taking off his earbuds in a moment of silence for deceased driver Jules Bianchi, and then blaming it on anything other than his own self.

Finally, remember those three races Vettel actually won when a Mercedes didn’t? Vettel does – or he could be celebrating his victory as the best driver in the inaugural 2015 ASN Formula One driver rankings – one or the other.
