2016 McLaren 570s Will Retail For $185K

Your entry-level starter McLaren is not due to arrive in the good old US of A until later this year, but the 2016 McLaren 570s – identified as an “entry-level” McLaren – will be priced at $184,900 [that’s without destination charges or any other additional fees and whatnottery usually attached to supercars from abroad]. That is, provided you can get one. The McLaren is expected to be sold out before you can say Jeremy Clarkson.

The mid-engine McLaren 570S has a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 with 562 horsepower that – according to McLaren – will go from zero to 62 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds whilst achieving a top speed of 204 mph.

If the McLaren 570s’s price tag is too lofty for your standards, fear not, the more “affordable” McLaren 540c – the second of McLaren’s so-called Sport Series – is currently scheduled to be launched at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show later this month.

Currently, there are 14 McLaren dealerships in the U.S.A.
