The 2020 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has become the latest victim of the coronavirus outbreak. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix, scheduled for June 7 2020, has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The race in Baku becomes the eighth race of the Formula One racing season to be either cancelled or postponed, joining those in Australia, Bahrain, China, Monaco, the Netherlands, Spain and Vietnam.
Azerbaijan race organizers are hopeful to get their race re-scheduled to a later date in 2020.
Next up on the original 2020 F1 racing schedule is the Canadian Grand Prix on June 14, 2020- with Canadian organizers expected to follow suit with the others.
