2020 Canadian Grand Prix Postponed Due To Coronavirus

Not surprisingly, the 2020 Canadian Grand Prix became the latest Formula One victim of the coronavirus outbreak as it becomes the ninth race of the season to be either cancelled or postponed.

The Canadian Grand Prix – scheduled to be held on June 14, 2020, in Montreal – was postponed from that date and may be re-scheduled later in the summer or early autumn.

Next up on the original 2020 Formula 1 racing calendar is the French Grand Prix on June 26, 2020, followed by the Austrian Grand Prix on July 5, 2020 and then the British Grand Prix on July 19, 2020 at Silverstone. None of those three have yet made official statements to cancel or postpone their events, with the British Grand Prix officials indicating that they will make the decision for their race at the end of April.
