Acura Launches 2024 Integra Type S With Chiaki’s Journey

Acura is launching their 2024 Integra Type S with a continuation of their anime series, “Chiaki’s Journey” – which returns for a second season with four new 60-second episodes. The series premiered in 2022, chronicling the adventures of Chiaki, a young racing protégé, and her wise uncle Noboru.

In season two of the anime series, Chiaki takes on Colorado’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in the new 2024 Acura Integra Type S which will – coincidentally – make its motorsports debut on June 25, 2023 at The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, presented by Gran Turismo, and will be driven by racer, Loni Unser.

Additionally, in a nod to the second season debut of “Chiaki’s Journey”, Uncle Noboru’s garage from the anime series will come to life as a full-scale Type S garage at this weekend’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach and, throughout the series, there will be special appearances by vehicles from Acura’s racing history [such as the RealTime Racing Integra Type R from the 1990s].
