Well that didn’t take long.
One day after crashing his car into four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel not once, but twice – Red Bull has demoted their #2 driver, Daniil Kvyat, back to their junior Toro Rosso team and promoted Max Verstappen from that team to take his place alongside #1 driver Daniel Ricciardo.
After an evasive maneuver by Vettel prevented a similar crash in the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, Kvyat took no chances this time around and pounded Vettel’s Ferrari in one turn before whacking him again in a subsequent turn and eliminating Vettel from race contention before he could even complete a single lap.
