Amazon Lands Clarkson, Hammond And May Show For 2016

Amazon became the official winners of the “Top Gear” sweepstakes beating out Netflix, Hulu and ITV – as the online media service snagged former “Top Gear” presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May for a new motoring show most likely similar to the previous motoring show the trio had been employed on BBC called “Top Gear” until Clarkson hastened their demise with a now-infamous incident with a producer of that show. The new show’s format has not yet been announced but it was confirmed that former “Top Gear” producer Andy Wilman, would be producing the new show as well.

The as-yet-unnamed new show featuring Clarkson, Hammond and May is part of a three-season deal and will debut in 2016.
