Another 1-2 For Mercedes At 2015 Austrian Grand Prix

Mercedes continued their dominance during the 2014-15 Formula One racing season with yet another 1-2 finish at the 2015 Austrian Grand Prix. The results were the same – only the names had been changed as Nico Rosberg switched places with defending champion Lewis Hamilton to win the mostly uncontested race with Hamilton 8.8 seconds back in second place. Brazilian driver, Felipe Massa, driving for the Mercedes-powered Williams team, claimed Williams’ second podium finish of the year with a third place finish, 17.6 seconds back.

With the results, Hamilton maintains his overall lead in the 2015 Formula One points standings with 169 points to Rosberg’s 159 points and Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel still holding his iron grip on third with 120 points.

The 2015 Formula One season continues with the British Grand Prix in Silverstone at 5 a.m. [PDT] on CNBC on July 5, 2015.
