Another Evel Knievel Movie In The Works

Yes, that’s right, we said “another” because you probably didn’t know there has already been a feature film made about famous the daredevil motorcyclist nicknamed Evel Knievel [as well as a 2004 television movie on TNT]. That film was made in 1971 and starred George Hamilton as Evel, but another feature film is in the works that will be based on Knievel’s life and his ill-fated attempt to jump Idaho’s Snake River in a rocket-cycle – much like his ill-fated attempt to jump the fountains at Caesar’s Palace on New Year’s Eve in 1967 [see video below]. The new movie is in production and is expected to have a 2017 release date.
