Audi Sending Driverless Car To Vegas For CES 2015

Audi is sending a driverless A7 Sportback on a 550-mile journey from Stanford in the Bay Area in California to Las Vegas, Nevada – the site of the International Consumer Electronics Show [CES] – as an example of the advancements in their autonomous driving program. The A7 Sportback [nicknamed “Jack”] will not be allowed to exceed 70 mph and is only slated to have driver interference – if necessary – in urban areas.

The International CES is held in Las Vegas from January 6-9, 2015.
