From A To B: McLaren Signs Alonso And Button For 2015

Formula One racing team McLaren took a week to finally announce that they were keeping former world champion Jenson Button and dumping Danish rookie Kevin Magnussen for the 2015 racing season. Button joins another former world champion, Fernando Alonso, as the newly-Honda-powered team seeks to move up the standings after the Mercedes-dominated 2014 season.

Alonso and Button have a combined 47 Grand Prix wins between them while Magnussen has yet to record a victory. Magnussen, however, remains at McLaren as a test driver.

The first race of the 2015 Formula One racing season takes place in Melbourne, Australia on March 15, 2015.
