Everybody breathed a sigh of relief when “Top Gear USA” finally went away last year after being relegated to the History channel. But now the BBC has apparently not finished tormenting us with the concept and has announced their newest idea – “Top Gear America” – which is set to premiere in late 2017 on BBC America.
“Top Gear America” will be an hour-long, eight-episode affair hosted by automotive enthusiast/actor William Fichtner [“Crash”], world champion drag racer Antron Brown, and British car journalist Tom “Wookie” Ford.
“Top Gear America” will feature automotive reviews as well as the revival of the celebrity leader board segment from the previous “Top Gear”.
