BBC has named two additional hosts for the upcoming revamped version of their “Top Gear” motoring show. Joining lead host Chris Evans will be British-based motoring journalist Chris Harris and Germany-based race driver Sabine Schmitz. Schmitz had previously appeared on the show in several of the previous series, usually jousting with the boys [Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May] in various contrived contests or stunts.
The new BBC-ized version of “Top Gear” is currently scheduled to premiere on May 8, 2016 in the UK and a few days later on BBC America in the USA.
