Belgian Grand Prix Good To Go To 2025

The Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps will remain on the Formula One calendar until 2025 after a new contract was signed – a one-year extension on the circuit’s previous contract.

The Belgian Grand Prix had been rumored to be on the chopping block due to its outdated facilities along with the potential addition of the South African Grand Prix to the Formula 1 racing calendar but difficulties securing the South African Grand Prix have created a temporary reprieve for the Belgian Grand Prix, one of F1’s most popular circuits.

The Spa-Francorchamps circuit was part of the first-ever F1 season in 1925 when Antonio Ascari – father of two-time F1 world champion, Alberto – won the inaugural grand prix.
