Petra Stunt, the daughter of Formula One chief crusty barnacle, Bernie Ecclestone, has officially put up her Beverly Hills mansion dubbed Candyland for sale – for the whopping bargain basement price of $200 million.
Stunt purchased the sprawling mansion – it is larger than the White House – in 2011 for a mere $85 million, but Candyland [so named because it was owned for five years by Candy Spelling, the widow of television producing god, Aaron Spelling] has been put up for sale after Petra’s shadowy billionaire husband, James Stunt, recently suffered two setbacks – having his gold bullion refining business raided by the police and his older brother dying under mysterious circumstances – both occurring last month.
The 56,500-square-foot mansion was built for Aaron Spelling who was responsible for creating and producing a few TV series you may have heard of called “The Love Boat”, “Dynasty”, “Beverly Hills 90210”, “Melrose Place” and “Charmed” – and contains several specialized rooms amongst its 123 rooms, including a humidity-controlled silver storage room, a flower-cutting room, bowling alley, doll collection room and a barber shop/hair salon.
