2016 is shaping up to be a good year for Formula One – at least as far as the schedule is concerned – with the confirmation of the contract for the Spanish Grand Prix being held at the Catalunya circuit being extended through 2019. In addition to that bit of good news on 2015 Spanish Grand Prix Eve, there was also an additional report that the 2016 German Grand Prix will proceed as expected at the Hockenheim circuit after getting cancelled this year when both the Hockenheim and Nurburgring circuits could not hold the race due to a variety of reasons for both tracks.
