Actor Burt Reynolds is encountering financial difficulties and will be auctioning off personal items at The Palms Casino in Las Vegas next month – including his personal truck and items from his popular 1977 “Smokey and the Bandit” film. Among the vehicular themed items Reynolds is putting up for auction are a go-kart version of his Pontiac Trans-Am from that film, a “Bandit” satin jacket and a “Bandit” belt buckle. The star’s personal truck – a 1997 Dodge Ram with Burt’s image and signature – is also on the block with a beginning bid of between $8000-10,000. The auction will be conducted by Julien’s Auctions at The Palm Casino and resort in Las Vegas, Nevada from December 10-12, 2014.
