Cadillac is abandoning Detroit and moving its global headquarters to New York City where it will be a “multi-purpose brand and event space in conjunction with modern loft offices”. The technical product development branches of the organization, however, will remain in Detroit.
Cadillac is planning to launch a new flagship sedan in 2015 to coincide with the move.
