Caterham About To Be Pushing Up Daisies

It is only a matter of time now. Caterham team owner, Tony Fernandes, has opted to close his Twitter account with a final message seemingly indicating that Caterham’s days as a Formula One racing team are numbered. Fernandes gave his final tweet of “F1 hasn’t worked. Love Caterham cars.” before signing off for good. Fernandes also owns the English football club Queens Park Rangers and budget airline AirAsia.

Despite a close call at Monaco earlier this year, Caterham has gone nearly five years without scoring a single point in Formula One races.

Caterham owner Tony Fernandes is about to call it quits on F1.
