After two years – one with Marussia in 2012 and one with Caterham-Renault last year – and zero wins with a best finish of 12th place in one race in 2012, it was no surprise that Caterham announced French driver Charles Pic out of their car’s driver’s seat for the upcoming 2014 Formula One racing season. Pic will be replaced by Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi, who sat out the 2013 season but raced in the 2012 season for Sauber.
The 2014 Formula One season begins with the Australian Grand Prix on March 16, 2014.
