While its financially-troubled Formula One racing team brethren, Marussia, has decided to quit the game, Caterham is making one last desperation stab at staying alive for the Formula One season race finale at Abu Dhabi by creating a crowdfunding account [see link below] for fans and “backers” to donate toward a goal of approximately $3.7 million.
Rewards offered for donations range from a baseball cap to a front wing of a Caterham car to a three-day trip to Abu Dhabi.
As of November 7, 2014, only $284,000 has been raised on the site – with a deadline of November 14, 2014.
