Charles Leclerc Claims Pole – For Now – For 2021 Monaco Grand Prix

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc claimed the pole position – for now – for tomorrow’s 2021 Monaco Grand Prix. Leclerc recorded the fastest time in the qualifying session but smacked his car against the wall in doing so and the front wing damage to be repaired may cost him a grid penalty and pole position.

But for now, he has pole position with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen alongside him on the first row and both Mercedes struggling to handle the famed city track with Valtteri Bottas in third and seven-time defending Formula One world champion, Lewis Hamilton, only able to manage seventh-fastest to start in the fourth row.
