Chevrolet Hands Big Check To Daytona Project
Chevrolet handed a big check to the Daytona International Motor Speedway to become one of five “founding partners” of the $400 million speedway renovation project dubbed Daytona Rising. In their multi-year deal with the speedway, Chevrolet will have their company’s logos adorning one of the five entrances to the finished speedway and will populate that entrance’s concourses with their vehicles and a fan experience. The two other current founding partners are Toyota and Florida Hospital – with the remaining slots yet to be filled.
The deal also gives Chevrolet “official partner status” which means they get official pace cars rights for the 2016 Daytona 500 in February 2015.
