Chris Evans Named New Host Of New Top Gear

The BBC’s newest version of “Top Gear” will be hosted by British radio and television personality Chris Evans, the BBC announced today. Evans – who had been a guest on “Top Gear” is a good friend of the former hosts, Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond. Evans has reportedly signed a three-year deal to be the new host of the new “Top Gear”.

The BBC did not announce either when the so-called “Lost Episodes” of last season would be aired this summer nor when the new “Top Gear” would begin airing.
