Not one, but two, crashes marked the three-day test session dubbed the “Roar Before the Rolex 24” as a Daytona Prototype flipped upside down on the Daytona speedway track and the iconic Delta Wing race car also crashed later in the day after running over debris left on the track from the previous Daytona prototype crash. Drivers [Bryan DeFoor in the Daytona prototype and Memo Rojas in the Delta Wing] were unhurt in both incidents.
The 2015 Rolex 24 at Daytona endurance race is scheduled for January 24-25, 2015.
