Toyota had not won a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race since forever – or at least 2013 – but that all came to an end at Martinsville 500 over the weekend as Denny Hamlin piloted his Toyota to a win at the Virginia racetrack – the smallest and oldest track in the series.
Hamlin held off Brad Keselowski for the win with Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano coming in third.
In the 2015 season standings, Kevin Harvick continues to lead with 263 points followed by Logano with 239 points and Martin Truex, Jr. in third with 231 points.
