Dodge Reveals Swarm Of New Hornets


First, there was the Hudson Hornet of the 1940s, then there was the AMC Hornet of the 1970s and now, Dodge has revived the Hornet nameplate and slapped it on their new compact utility vehicle for the 2020s.

The newest iteration of the Hornet is the R/T performance hybrid is the first electrified performance vehicle from Dodge with 288 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque, which Dodge claims can go 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Dodge Hornet GT, has what Dodge claims is the utility vehicle segment’s most powerful gas engine with 268 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque.

The new Dodge Hornet utility vehicle has a starting MSRP under $30,000.
