ESPN networks will continue as the USA broadcast partner of Formula One coverage for the next three years with the announcement of a new contract.
ESPN and ABC will show at least 16 races in each of the next three Formula 1 seasons – with ESPN’s commercial-free presentation continuing in those airings – and also includes additional direct-to-consumer rights.
The 2023 F1 racing calendar will boast 24 races, including the newest – the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix – as well as the largest U.S television audience for a live F1 race in history [an average 2.6 million viewers watched the 2022 Miami Grand Prix on ABC].
