There have already been seven films in the lucrative “Fast & Furious” film franchise – with an eighth on the way – and now comes the time when the franchise turns to making even more money by casting spinoff movies based on its central characters.
According to producer and star, Vin Diesel, the film franchise will develop future feature films that will explore the various characters created in the seven films to date. This will be in addition, of course, to the three films [F&F8, 9 and 10] that Diesel says he wants to complete before vacating the film franchise.
“Fast & Furious 8” is currently scheduled to be released on April 14, 2017.
