Felipe Massa, driving for the Williams team, was fastest on the Catalunya track in Barcelona on the first day of the final testing session in preparation for the beginning of the 2015 Formula One racing season next month in Australia. Massa put out the fastest time of all the sessions to date with a 1:23.5.
Following Massa was Sauber’s Marcus Ericsson in 1:24.2 and defending champion Lewis Hamilton for Mercedes in 1:24.8.
The first race of the 2015 Formula One racing season takes place in Melbourne, Australia on March 15, 2015.
