The Ferrari 458 Italia is the latest car to move from natural aspiration to a turbocharger and, in this case, a twin turbo. The 458 is likely to receive the 39-liter twin turbo currently found in the Ferrari California T that delivers 552 horsepower for that car but what will probably deliver more than 600 horsepower for the 458. Presently, the California T hits a 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds and tops out at 196 miles per hour but the same engine in a 458 should significantly reduce the 0-60 time and easily hop over the 200 mph barrier.
The Ferrari 458 Italia with twin turbo is expected to appear in late 2015.
