Ferrari Fastest, Hamilton Crashes In Final Practice Session At 2019 Belgian Grand Prix

Ferrari had the fastest cars on the track again for the third and final practice session for the 2019 Belgian Grand Prix, with Charles Leclerc again leading the way ahead of his teammate, Sebastian Vettel.

Meanwhile, Mercedes took a hit – literally – as defending F1 champion Lewis Hamilton drove into a wall at a chicane instead of staying on the track as he is supposed to and badly damaging the front end of his car.

A Mercedes spokesperson indicated that they would be replacing both front corners (suspension and wheel assemblies), nose, barge boards and floor of the car but expected to have the car ready for today’s qualifying session.
