Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc Wins Pole For 2019 Austrian Grand Prix

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc won the pole position for tomorrow’s 2019 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. Defending Formula One champion and current points leader, Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton, will start alongside Leclerc in the first row unless he incurs a penalty for impeding Alfa Romeo’s Kimi Raikkonen during qualifying – in which case, he will start in fifth position in the third row.

Leclerc’s Ferrari teammate, Sebastian Vettel, was unable to set a time and will start in the fifth row from the ninth overall position as Haas’ Kevin Magnussen is assessed a penalty.
