FIA Extends Belgian Grand Prix At Spa To 2018

One of the classic Formula One racing tracks – Spa-Francorchamps, used for the Belgian Grand Prix – has been extended through 2018. Additionally, in receiving the extension, the FIA – Formula One’s governing body – has decreed that it does not require any significant upgrades.

The Belgian Grand Prix has been held at Spa-Francorchamps for the majority of the time since its inception in 1925 and last year’s winner was Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull.

The first race of the 2015 Formula One racing season takes place in Melbourne, Australia on March 15, 2015.
