Force India Asks Bernie For Handout While Perez Prepares For Mexico Debut

Force India has asked Formula One chief crusty barnacle Bernie Ecclestone for an advance payment on 2016’s revenues, ostensibly to pay parts suppliers and avoid the fates of Caterham, Marussia and Lotus before them. Force India has already signed drivers Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg to contracts for the 2016 season and Mexican native Perez is slotted to make his emotional debut at this weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix.

The 2015 Formula One season continues with the Mexican Grand Prix at Mexico City at 11 a.m. [PDT] on NBCSN on November 1, 2015.
