Ford Motor Company has revealed a new electric SUV that they are calling the Mustang Mach-E – officially associating it with the iconic car brand.
To launch the vehicle, Ford produced a 60-second promotional video [below] featuring actor Idris Elba.
According to their press release, Ford is hoping the association of the widely recognized Mustang name brand will accelerate sales of their new electric SUV.
Ford has connected multiple charging networks through its FordPass app – allowing potential Mach-E owners to have access to approximately 14K charging stations at launch of the vehicle in late 2020.
Ford says the Mach-E has a 230-300-mile range depending on the trim levels.
