Ford revealed their fancy-pants Bronco R for the Baja 1000 – but it still does not hold an aesthetic candle to Rod Hall’s original Bronco which was victorious in the Baja 1000 off-road race.
Ford calls their latest updated namby pamby version the “Bronco R” and will enter it in this year’s Baja 1000 race – with Hall’s granddaughter Shelby Hall driving the Bronco R for one of the segments of the iconic race.
The Ford Bronco R was developed by Ford Performance in collaboration with Geiser Bros Design and Development and Baja 1000 Trophy Truck champion Cameron Steele.
