Former F1 World Champ Button To Give NASCAR A Go For Three Races

Former Formula One world champion Jenson Button has announced that he will give NASCAR a go in three NASCAR Cup Series races this year.

Button will make his debut at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin on March 26, 2023 and then follow that up with his participation in the inaugural Chicago Street Race on July 2, 2023 and close out his 2023 NASCAR season at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course on August 13, 2023.

The 43-year-old Briton, who has won 15 grands prix in his 17-year F1 career, won his F1 championship in 2009, then retired from F1 in 2017 and won the 2018 Super GT Championship before competing in the Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race.

Button’s will drive a Mobil 1 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing.
