Formula E Signs With Media Deal With CBS And Paramount Plus

Formula E has signed a media rights deal with CBS and Paramount Plus to feature live races on multiple platforms in the USA. Additionally, the Roku streaming service will also be involved in the media rights deal.

Formula E debuted in 2014, gained world championship status from the FiA [international motorsports governing body] and recently held its only 2023 USA-based and first-ever race in Portland, Oregon, this past weekend, on the way to the 2023 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Portland is the only city to be confirmed on the 2024 race calendar.

Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship begins in January 2024, with five races currently scheduled to air live on CBS and simulcast on the Paramount+ app [the CBS Sports Network will also air one program per E-Prix round showcasing race highlights]. Additionally, 11 Formula E races will be streamed live and perhaps most importantly, ad-free, on The Roku Channel in 2024.

Formula E’s Season 9 only has a few races remaining in the season – two races in Rome on July 15-16, 2023, followed by the series finale in London on July 29-30, 2023.
