Formula One will add the Vietnamese Grand Prix to their racing calendar in 2020, replacing the Malaysian Grand Prix in that region, which had succumbed to poor ticket sales.
The 2020 Vietnamese Grand Prix will be held in Hanoi in April and will be that country’s first grand prix ever.
A multi-year deal has been arranged for the proposed 5.565km street track layout in Hanoi – making it the fourth street track on the calendar – joining Monaco, Singapore and Azerbaijan.
