Mexico joined the Formula One racing circuit for 2015 and now Baku in Azerbaijan has been announced as a location for a Formula One race in the 2016 season. The Baku race is expected to be paired with the race that will occur in Sochi, Russia late in the 2016 season.
The Baku course is expected to be designed to have the start/finish area be in the city’s central Azadliq Square.
