Formula One Returning To Mexico In 2015

The Formula One racing series last held in Mexico in 1992 but will be returning there in 2015 for the Mexican Grand Prix. The site was supposed to be on the 2013 or 2014 calendar but updates to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez [translation: Rodriguez Brothers Racetrack] track could not be completed in time. The 2.7-mile [4.4 kilometers] track has a five-year contract with F1 and seats 32,000 spectators – though the track is expected to be reconfigured to allow more spectators.

The Mexican Grand Prix was last held between 1986 and 1992.
