Formula One is getting into the scripted series business with a proposed family drama series, “One” – starring Felicity Jones [“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and “The Theory Of Everything”].
This will be the first-ever officially sanctioned scripted series for the world’s premier racing series and Formula 1 will be a producer on the series.
“One” will follow the drama-filled [what else can it be in the F1 world?] ascension of a fictitious family-owned F1 team as it contends with the usual F1 entities comprised of abrasive personalities, surly rivals, and, of course, high monetary stakes.
“One” will not however, move further forward until the the resolution of the ongoing writers strike from the Writers Guild of America [WGA] which is currently in its second month.
