Formula One has added a race in Las Vegas – the Las Vegas Grand Prix – for the 2023 season.
The 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix will be a night race – duh – and will be 50 laps and take place on a 3.8-mile track that will include a portion of the Nevada resort city’s famous Strip and will have collaboration from Caesars Palace, Wynn Las Vegas, MGM and the Venetian casino hotels.
Formula 1 has held a grand prix in Las Vegas twice before, in 1981 and 1982, when the race was held at the Caesars Palace casino.
Las Vegas joins Austin [2012] and Miami [2022] as USA venues for Formula One.
