Fourth Time’s A Charm For Kenseth At Rainy Bristol

After four rain delays, Matt Kenseth finally claimed the victory at NASCAR’s Bristol 500 in Tennessee. Rainy weather delayed the race for much of the day but when the racing finally got underway it was Kenseth who was able to take advantage and hold off Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson for the win. Kenseth’s victory ended a personal 51-race winless streak.

Kenseth’s win moves him up into eighth in the Sprint Cup Series currently led by Kevin Harvick with 314 points followed by Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano with 284 points and Martin Truex, Jr. with 281 points.
